sccmnoobie Posted September 2, 2013 Report post Posted September 2, 2013 Hi all, Could someone please explain to me the difference between 'Content was distributed to distribution point' and 'Content hash has been successfully verifed'? We have multiple site servers and through all packages it looks like the same servers are seen in each type for each package. Each server was built exactly the same. Thanks! Peter van der Woude Posted September 2, 2013 Report post Posted September 2, 2013 The Content hash has ben successfully verified message shows when content validation is configured on the DP and the content has just been successfully validated. sccmnoobie Posted September 2, 2013 Report post Posted September 2, 2013 Hi Peter, Thanks for the reply. With the 'Content Hash', does that mean the package has been successfully distributed to the DP *AND* the package has been verified? Or does it mean it can locate the package on the primary? Thanks for your help, SCCMNoobie
Eswar Koneti Posted September 3, 2013 Report post Posted September 3, 2013 content hash will be verified when the package available on the DP and see if there is any mismatch with hash version with the package already available on the DP. Peter van der Woude Posted September 3, 2013 Report post Posted September 3, 2013 So, yes, it means that the package is already successfully distributed to the DP.
