issues with query on a collection

Recommended Posts

select SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceID,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceType,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Name,SMS_R_SYSTEM.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SMS_R_SYSTEM.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SMS_R_SYSTEM.Client from SMS_R_System inner join SMS_G_System_COMPUTER_SYSTEM on SMS_G_System_COMPUTER_SYSTEM.ResourceID = SMS_R_System.ResourceId where SMS_G_System_COMPUTER_SYSTEM.Model = "LIFEBOOK T901"

I used the built in criteria option to build the query it has been working and now I know of 3 machines that have been re imaged and are not being pulled up in the collection that were there previously

the sccm client is installed and working center

WMI isn't messed up on the machine. I can run the WMI cmd to pull the computer model on the local machine, I can use SCCM client center to query the hardware inventory and it show's the computer model its like sccm server is ignoring that it has the model information.

please help what else should i be looking at or for?

Its set to 1 day

but I built another collection and rebuilt the query to see if it was a glitch but it only fills the collection with the same 68 machines when there should be 71. I set the new one to check every hour no change.

when looking at it through resource explorer it states " there is no items to show in this view" under hardware. So what do I have to do to get it to show what should be there I have already done a hardware inventory task and nothing shows up?

and thank you I forgot about the resource explorer.

so on my IIS logs this is what i am seeing

2013-09-05 13:44:11 10.10.13.45 BITS_POST /CCM_Incoming/{B37839A9-84DF-47D1-BB69-0E5D58B6C5E7} (bits_error:,501,0x80070005) 80 - 10.10.100.235 Microsoft+BITS/7.5 501 0 0 2
in red which from what I can tell is bad something to do with bits not working right people saying that they had to remove and recreate their management point to get it to work. I only have the one and not sure if that is a good idea any direction would be helpful.
thanks so far for the info

Update so some more trouble shooting led me to my IIS manager and to the ccm_Incoming sub site / virtual directory, when I try to access BITS Uploads it crashes IIS manager and throws out this error.

"bits server was unable to read from the iis metabase as it is corrupt" so I am reading through a hotfix for this because its a real directory instead of a virtual directory but I am wondering if this is related I am thinking no because this has always been deployed like this might be the first time anyone has even tried to click it.
