quitian Posted September 10, 2013 Report post Posted September 10, 2013 Hi All, I have SCCM 2012 RTM in our infrastructure. We have a big trouble about SQL 2008R2 with the SCCM's table. The Database does growup everyday. For exemple we have 450 employees and the database is on 80 gigas ! Microsoft said it should better to reinstall all the SCCM 2012 server with SCCM2012 SP1 Is it possible to save some datas from this SCCM 2012 and reinsert the save to the new SCCM 20112 SP1 insallation ? Or i must reconfigurate all the new SCCM 2012 SP1 and reconfigure the ancient client manager user's desktop ? I have a problem qith this table : EP_ThreatMetadata_Staging Perhaps someone could help me about this tables who grouwup everyday. Thanks a lot ! GarthMJ Posted September 10, 2013 Report post Posted September 10, 2013 If you are talking to CSS (MS support) then you really shouldn’t be trying to work on the problem here. No it is not possible to save the data and move it to the new server. You CAN migrate your applications and package from one server to the new server but they both MUST be up at the same time. Personally I would challenge the CSS team about re-installing CM12. I would have thought that triggering one of the maintenance tasks would have solved this issue. Yes you might need to do some additional SQL work but that is CSS job to walk you thought the whole process.
