Dan Mahler Posted September 16, 2013 Report post Posted September 16, 2013 I have been running SCCM 2012 without major issues since March 2013. Suddenly, I have noticed that when I try to Deploy windows updates from Software Update Group (right click, choose deploy from pull down) the console hangs. If I leave the console in the hung state it will not continue, time out or recover. I have to end the process. This occurs on any station and ID I attempt this from. I have reinstalled the SCCM console. I have verified the DB maintenance is configured (indexing). I have a gut feeling that the issue is the result of some recently applied update but I have no idea which one. The AdminUILogAdminUILog shows nothing useful. Suggestions? Dan Mahler Posted September 17, 2013 Report post Posted September 17, 2013 In one instance out of dozens I was presented with a .NET error. "unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error.... Not enough quota is available to process this command." An online search lead me to issues related to virtual memory on the client. I increased virtual memory on my clients and this function now works.
