Pushing out a registry key with limited access

Guys,

 

I really could do with your help please.

I am trying to push a registry key out to our users via GPO. The key already exists on client systems and only system has full access to the key. I have exported the key from my system after making some changes and I want to push that out. For some reason the GPO I created applies but doesnt update the key. What is the best way to get this done ?

An MSI which includes the registry key in it can be created and deployed to the user machine..

I think you must create your Registry settings in :

 

GPO -> Computer Configuration -> Preferences -> Windows Settings -> Registry
