Bootable media rather than PXE, is it possible?

Hi everybody!!

 

I try to install an image via bootable media (task sequence media), after the password i have this message "no task sequence available on this computer", i've not enabled the pxe on distribtion point and so don't open the pxe port.

Is it possible to work the deployment without pxe? I'm on sccm 2012 sp1.

Ok sorry, tes it's possible but i've not my task sequence available!!!

Ps: i distributed my wim image and boot image on my distribution point

Hi,

Yes booting from a Bootable media will Work without any PXE. look in the smspxe.log file on the server, is the computer already knwon in SCCM? have you enabled Unknown computer support on the bootable media?
