mwilliams Posted September 18, 2013 Report post Posted September 18, 2013 im having problems creating a new deployment point which is sitting in a different domain to the current CAS and primary. it gives me an error message of, distribution manager failed to install distribution point. possible cause: distribution manager does not have sufficient rights to the computer. i have checked the user rights on the proposed DP and made sure the CAS machine has rights. the new DP server has received and installed the sms client from the CAS. it has been tested with firewalls off. im new to administering sccm so if there is something that should be obvious point it out i may have missed it Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
