Change xp resolution once capture image is applied

Question

Hi

just wondering if someone did this thing before instead of trying all options.

i captured an image and uploaded it to the server(sccm 2007)

all seems good and i can apply it.

it applies but the resolution stays at default.

how can i change that?

sysprep.inf or unattended.txt

(i dont really need anything else to be customized other then this)

anybody tried this?

thanks in advance

use sysprep.inf to change the resolution, you could even define collection variables to do it for you in a more streamlined way

for details of how that is done read Ronnis post here > http://myitforum.com/cs2/blogs/rpedersen/a...eployments.aspx

please note that in his guide he has this bit

sysprep.inf:
[GuiUnattend]
  TimeZone=%LAB_OSDTimeZone%
[ResionalSettings]
  SystemLocale=%LAB_OSDSystemLocale%
  SystemInput=%LAB_OSDSystemInput%
[Display]
  XResolution=%LAB_OSDXResolution%
  YResolution=%LAB_OSDYResolution%

which should read

sysprep.inf:
[GuiUnattend]
  TimeZone=%LAB_OSDTimeZone%
[RegionalSettings]
  SystemLocale=%LAB_OSDSystemLocale%
  SystemInput=%LAB_OSDSystemInput%
[Display]
  XResolution=%LAB_OSDXResolution%
  YResolution=%LAB_OSDYResolution%

cheers
