m00sed Posted October 4, 2013 Report post Posted October 4, 2013 We are in the process of spinning up Application Catalog. We need to know what the hardware requirements are for this role. It has been suggested that this role needs to run from a separate server with a 2 core proc./16gig RAM and a 1T drive. We can't find any supporting documentation from Microsoft on this configuration. We were wondering if installing the role on the Primary (no CAS) would cause any adverse effects on the SCCM environment. The Primary is a virtual 2 core with 48 gig and a 1T drive. It has the following roles installed:Component ServerDistribution ServerEndPoint Protection PointManagement PointSite database serverSite ServerSite SystemSoftware update point The Primary is a DP for three locations only (no replication between DPs) There are 53 DPs with Site , Distribution and Component Server roles installed. There are roughly 17,000 clients that will eventually be managed by this server. I have asked this question on the TechNet forum but I wanted to put it before another group before proceeding.
