edie209 Posted October 10, 2013 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 I have today successfully deployed two task sequences to rebuild PC's one at a set time and one as soon as possible and they both worked. However I have a small problem and no doubt there is a solution but I am unable to find the answer. We have a password on our Task Sequence and when we run the scheduled task sequence it still asks for the password so we have to visit the machine. Is there a way that this can be automated so that I could image machines out of hours? I don't really want to remove the password if this is at all possible. edie209 Posted October 10, 2013 Report post Posted October 10, 2013 I think I have found the answer. In Site Configuration / Servers and Site Systems Roles double click Distribution point properties select the PXE tab and in "User Device Affinity" select "Allow user device affinity with automatic approval" Could someone confirm this as I have managed to get one to work yet on a second attempt it asks for a password again. Iroqouiz Posted October 11, 2013 Report post Posted October 11, 2013 Deploy your TS as Required instead of Available. Be careful though, whatever computer you add to that collection will be reimaged automatically according to the deployment schedule you set. DON'T deploy the TS to All Systems
