For the SCCM Installation Project î'm writing a Concept and try to put in the different methods how i can deploy OS to Clients - PXE - Prestage Media - Bootable media - I have to explane the method and the benefits/disadvantage. but unfortunately google dosnt know something about it. :-/ can anybody give me some details? many thanks Quote Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
kingbuzzo Posted October 15, 2013 Report post Posted October 15, 2013 PXE is the "Cadillac" solution which can offer a truly zero-touch O/S install to hundreds of clients and the preferred method of any lazy admin. Pre-Stage boots the client into a mode where it can download the install media if PXE is not available. Bootable Media is for clients that are not connected to the network and the pre-state/OS is available on removable media. You should try Bing.
