mysticjohn Posted November 12, 2013 Report post Posted November 12, 2013 I'm running a server in a vmware workstation, and have setup WDS services on Windows Server 2008 R2. I have windows 2008 R2 and Windows 7 in WDS. However, if I try to install a new machine, by booting it from PXE, I get a message saying: (of course I press F12 when asked for it) Downloading WDSNBP Press F12 for network service boot Windows Deployment Services: PXE Boot Aborted PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM. Operating system not found. However, if I then just press Esc, it will reboot, and if I then click F12, it will work. Does anyone have a clue, as to what might be wrong? Downloading WDSNBP
Press F12 for network service boot
Windows Deployment Services: PXE Boot Aborted
PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.
Operating system not found.
However, if I then just press Esc, it will reboot, and if I then click F12, it will work.
Does anyone have a clue, as to what might be wrong?
