PXE fails to boot

Recommended Posts

I have recently set up SCCM 2012 Sp1 and it all seemed to go well but when I boot up a laptop or VM with F12 it shows the following error.

Recovery

Your PC needs to be repaired

The windows boot configuration Data (BCD) file from the PCE server does not contain a vailid operating system entry. Ensure hat the server has boot images installed for this architecture.

File:\Tmp\x86x64{825***********}.bcd

Error code: 0xc0000098

I have attached my SMSPXE.log

We do use vlans and I have attached my SCCM server and DHCP server to the same lan but all of our clients will be on a different vlan.

Thank you for your help

It is not a network (VLAN) issue if the same happens on a VM that is on the same VLAN as the servers.

The log compains about MP issue, possibly not been able to communicate with it. If the site components and site systems roles are all green then just check your mpcontrol.log just to be sure.
