fqureshi Posted November 28, 2013 Report post Posted November 28, 2013 Hi, I am deploying windows 8.1x64 in my organization. We need multiple language support so a user can select respective language. I have installed windows language packs and it is all set. In control panel under language of a deployed machine I can see that there are four languages installed. But none are displayed in language bar on task bar. Only two languages are shown which are en-NZ and en-US. I have tried all sort of steps which I can but nothing worked. I have defined multiple values to inputLocal i.e. en-US; en-NZ; ja-JP; ko-KR I have also tried to define OSD variable during deployment and change those variables in answer file but then it ask for language selection during OSD. I got it sort of working in Windows 7 using http://www.windows-noob.com/forums/index.php?/topic/5155-customising-windows-7-deployments-part-6-adding-multiple-keyboard-layouts-and-multiple-languages/ I am trying to do the same steps in windows 8.1x64. For your information yes I have acquired correct language packs for windows8.1x64 from our MSDN subscription directory. Any help will be much appreciated. Kind regards, Farzan
Rapp Posted April 7, 2014 Report post Posted April 7, 2014 Hello Was you able to get this working in the end? We have been having issues deploying the Spanish language pack during the OSD on Windows 8.1.
