Rocket Man Posted January 3, 2014 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 I am not getting an IP address on the system Forget about the spanning tree idea so then. You do not have the correct drivers injected!
infinite-loop Posted January 3, 2014 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 Interestingly, I couldn't get SCCM/DCIP to import the WinPE 4.0 drivers from the cab file, so I extracted it, imported the drivers, and added the x64 drivers to the boot image and it's finally off and running. Thank you both for your help!
Rocket Man Posted January 3, 2014 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 and it's finally off and running. Thank you both for your help! Good Stuff! Interestingly, I couldn't get SCCM/DCIP to import the WinPE 4.0 drivers from the cab file, so I extracted it, imported the drivers, You have to extract the cab file to inject the drivers into the boot files. Once the cab is extracted you will have an x86 directory with the x86 winPE drivers for injecting into the x86 boot.wim and an x64 directory with x64 wnPE drivers for the x64 boot.wim. You have it working now anyway but just for future reference if creating new boot.wims!
infinite-loop Posted January 3, 2014 Report post Posted January 3, 2014 Actually, with Dell Client Integration Pack there's a button to "Import WinPE Driver Package" which allows you to simultaneously import the drivers from the cab file to a specified location, inject them in to one or more boot images and update one or more distribution points. It would be really nice, if it worked
