i.luciano@tcnb.com Posted January 21, 2014 Report post Posted January 21, 2014 Hello All. I have a little issue with reports not showing up on my admin console. Odd thing is that when I log into the SCCM server the reports are visible and can be run without issue. How can I get the reports to show up in my admin console. I have included screen shots. The first is the server and the second is my admin console. Any help would be a great help. Thanks in advance.
Edenost Posted January 22, 2014 Report post Posted January 22, 2014 Managed to find this link (note the second and also last post). Hope this helps. http://www.myitforum.com/forums/Reports-not-showing-on-remote-consoles-m237406.aspx
Edenost Posted January 22, 2014 Report post Posted January 22, 2014 Also, have you set any users up in the Administration part of SCCM? The user you are logged on to the domain with, do they have full rights to SCCM?
GarthMJ Posted January 22, 2014 Report post Posted January 22, 2014 What happens when you run the report via the native web interface? BTW I NEVER recommend running the reports via the console. http://be.enhansoft.com/post/2013/09/10/Should-Configuration-Manager-SSRS-or-ASP-Reports-be-Accessed-from-the-Browser-or-the-Console.aspx
i.luciano@tcnb.com Posted January 23, 2014 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 This is what I get when I try and create a report from my workstation.
i.luciano@tcnb.com Posted January 23, 2014 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 I've already imported the trustedpeople certificate from the sccm server. I also verified that the domain admins group is a full administrator. I added the reporting services point and readded a second time. One thing is that I do not see the reporting services role. In the security roles tab.
Edenost Posted January 23, 2014 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 I'm sure I saw a post about the "Reporting" role security group. It doesn't actually exist. You would need to modify one to only have reports as a role, but reports for everything. The permissions all look fine from your screen shots, and as you say, it's all domain admins. I'm not too sure at the moment why you would be having these errors.
i.luciano@tcnb.com Posted January 23, 2014 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 Don't know if this helps but I also cannot access the native web interface from my workstation but I can from the sccm server. When I try to go there I get a 404 error.
GarthMJ Posted January 23, 2014 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 So the 404 Error, means that you can't find the website and therefore you are NOT getting to the native SSRS site. You need to fix that first before working on CM12
aevans1987 Posted January 23, 2014 Report post Posted January 23, 2014 Is your firewall blocking the ports? Also, do you have SQL on the same server or a separate from the SCCM Server?
