shank Posted February 6, 2014 Report post Posted February 6, 2014 It is working now, not sure if it was the whole pull down and re-enabling of PXE or it was just faulty ports or stupid user. Going to go with last 2, as it was a different user this time and different port i am guessing. This was not rocket science, must have got a real dumb one. Thanks for all the tips! thomas87 Posted February 21, 2014 Report post Posted February 21, 2014 Have you added a new computer to SCCM? If you don't add a computer, you cannot boot via PXE. I have same problem. Some PCs have booted but someone don't.
ozthe2 Posted February 21, 2014 Report post Posted February 21, 2014 This information is incorrect - you don't have to add a computer to config manager in order to pxe.
thomas87 Posted February 28, 2014 Report post Posted February 28, 2014 If I don't have a new PC in SCCM, I get an error. It's E-53 No boot file received. I can see in logs that PC isn't in SCCM database. If the PC is in the database, everything is ok. So I replied above on query. Sorry for misunderstanding. That's probably because you don't deploy your OSD TS to "All Unknown Computers".
thomas87 Posted February 28, 2014 Report post Posted February 28, 2014 That's probably because you don't deploy your OSD TS to "All Unknown Computers". I'll try it. It's true that I didn't deploy my TS to "All Unknown Computer" and it's deploying to my collection for install new PCs.
