Patches in WSUS not syncying with SCCM

Recommended Posts

Info:

SCCM 2012 - no rollups yet. (Rollups not showing in MS Update, like MS says...)

SCCM is on Server 2008 R2

WSUS is on the SCCM server.

I did not build this server and am still learning this thing, so if you answer please take that into consideration.

Issue:

I have some patches that are not in SCCM, but are in WSUS. I have turned on all categories in SCCM and all categories are on in WSUS except for Drivers. Drivers is NOT listed in SCCM. I manually synced WSUS last Friday and I ran a manual sync on SCCM today. (Both had run an automated sync over the weekend.) The patches are still not in SCCM.

Here are some example missing patches: (I am sure there are more.)

KB2687311

KB2553091

KB2553096

KB2597166

KB2826020

Can anyone tell me the following things?

1. Why these patches are not syncing.

2. How to get these patches into SCCM by hand.

Thank you,

p.s

How do you audit your patches? I am showing some missing patches when I scan workstations for vulns, but WSUS says they have the update. When I go out to MS Update directly they are indeed missing those patches. So again, I ask how you audit your patches?

Back to my real question:

Anybody have a clue as to why these patches are in WSUS, but will not sync to SCCM??? ALL version of Office are slected and all categories are selected.

Office updates:

KB2687311

KB2553091

KB2553096

KB2597166

KB2826020

Windows 7:

KB2769369

KB2658846
