i would like to know weather it is possible to have Winpe in Windows 7 recovery partition. This will help to avoid the need of bootable usb to rebuild the machine in future. Also due to some reasons we cannot do network pxe boot.
x drive - 100 mb,default
c drive - os
r drive - conatain WINpe file to boot incase of any need to rebuild the OS.this need to boot from WINpe and connect SCCM server for task sequence.
I have tried copying the contents of the sccm bootable media to the recovery partion and tried playing with bcdedit to create a entry.while i try to start computer i got 2 option one to boot from windows 7 and other to boot from recovery partition but while booting from winpe i got error " unable to read task sequence configration disk".
Please help me and also i would like to know whether it is supported to have recovery partition with SCCM winpe which will be used to reboot and then connect to sccm server for task sequence and proceed.?
